The Rituals

Treatments, practised slowly

Nothing here is timed to the minute. Each ritual begins with a short conversation, warm towels and a moment to settle, and ends the same way. Nothing is priced or paid for on this site — if a ritual speaks to you, we arrange everything quietly by email.

Ritual No. 01

The Signature Facial Ritual

Our most requested treatment. Skin is double-cleansed, gently polished and assessed by hand before a layered mask is chosen for the day — hydrating, calming or brightening. The face, neck and shoulders are worked through with slow lymphatic strokes and warm towels, and the ritual closes with a barrier repair serum and a quiet few minutes to simply rest.

Well suited to skin weathered by office air conditioning, winter wind across the Sussex countryside, or the general dryness of long commutes along the M23.

Brow Architecture

Brows are mapped against your bone structure before a single hair is touched. We shape by hand and fine tweezer rather than rushing with wax, keeping the natural line soft and full. Tinting is available for those who want the definition of a morning pencil without the daily effort, and a nourishing brow balm finishes the arch.

Most guests return every few weeks; a gentle tidy between visits is always easy to arrange by email.

Ritual No. 03

The Lash Lift Ritual

A quiet alternative to extensions. Your own lashes are lifted at the root, set into a soft upward curve and tinted from base to tip, so the eyes look open and rested with nothing more than a slick of balm each morning. The whole ritual is performed lying down, eyes closed, with warm pads and no discomfort — many guests drift off.

The lift settles beautifully for around six to eight weeks, carrying you through weddings, holidays and ordinary Tuesdays alike.

Ritual No. 04

The Manicure Ritual

Hands are soaked, cuticles softened and tidied with care, and nails shaped to the length you actually live with. We finish with a buff, a nude or blush polish chosen from a restrained palette, and a slow hand and forearm massage. Gel polish is available for those who prefer longevity; natural buffing suits those who do not.

Many of our guests are nurses, teachers and shop workers from around Crawley — hands that earn their rest, and get it here.

Ritual No. 05

Warm Stone & Back Ritual

Basalt stones are warmed and worked slowly along the back, shoulders and neck, melting the kind of tension that builds over a week of desks, driving and carrying. The strokes are long and unhurried, and the pressure is always set by you, on the day. A scalp finish leaves most guests reluctant to sit up.

Popular with Gatwick cabin crew, office workers from Manor Royal and anyone whose shoulders live somewhere near their ears by Friday.
