What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device through your browser. Cookies allow a site to remember things between pages and visits — for example, that you have already answered a question, or how you prefer pages to behave. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, work in much the same way, and we treat them together in this policy.
This website uses very few cookies, and the only one we set directly ourselves remembers your cookie preference. Others are set only by third parties where you allow it.

How the consent banner works
The first time you visit any page of this website, a banner appears at the bottom of the screen explaining our use of cookies and offering "Accept" and "Decline" buttons. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key jenbeautylounge-cookie-consent. Once you have chosen, the banner will not be shown again on future visits — we will not nag you.
- Accept — records your consent and allows analytics and advertising cookies to be set.
- Decline — records your refusal. Only the strictly necessary consent record itself is stored; no analytics or advertising cookies are set.
How to withdraw or change your consent
You can change your mind at any time. The "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page removes your stored choice and brings the consent banner back so you can decide again. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of anything done before you withdrew it.
Browser-level cookie controls
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies, and to clear local storage, usually under a "Privacy", "Security" or "Site settings" menu. Blocking all cookies will not prevent you from reading this website, though the consent banner may reappear on each visit if its record cannot be saved. You can also delete data for individual sites without touching the rest of your browsing.
